In loving memory of Della Chen

Della Chen, a Seattle native and documentary photographer, dedicated herself to enriching the lives of children battling cancer through her role as a teaching artist with the Pablove Shutterbugs program. For close to ten years, she passionately shared her love for photography, inspiring young minds to explore their creativity and express themselves through the lens.

Through her work with the Pablove Foundation’s Shutterbugs program, she was able to share her love of photography as a tool for healing and self-expression. Her dedication to nurturing creativity gave young patients a voice beyond their diagnosis, empowering them to see the world—and themselves—through a new lens. Her impact continues to inspire and uplift, leaving a lasting legacy of art, resilience, and joy.

Della's Legacy

Through every photo captured and every child she encouraged, Della’s spirit and passion remain a lasting part of Pablove’s mission. Her compassionate guidance in the Shutterbugs program helped young artists tell their stories, capturing moments of beauty and strength despite their challenges. Her passion for the arts and commitment to Pablove’s mission continue to inspire and uplift the community she so deeply touched.
